About the Venue
Situated on the south facing side of the Tor and surrounded by sacred trees, the original Magdalene Cottage serves as a significant location where Mary Magdalene is said to have emanated her teachings during her visits to the British Isles, also recognised as the High Druid Seat of the Tor. It is now preserved by the White Flame Charitable Trust.
The energy in this setting is both vibrant and heart-opening, as the Tor is globally acknowledged as the Heart Chakra of the Earth.
This non-residential sacred venue features a light and airy conservatory, alongside a workshop area that includes a wood burning stove, kitchen and comfortably accommodates 8-10 individuals.

Additionally, there are two private rooms available for one-on-one sessions, massages, healing practices, and other holistic therapies.
There is also a large beautiful secluded garden with a large buddha statue, several seating areas for quiet contemplation and meditation and a fire-pit for sacred ceremonies.
Price List
The Magdalene Cottage can be booked for 1, 2 or 3 day workshops and events. Prices will be reflective of what you are offering, your retreat price and how many attendees you may have. Everything will be tailored to your retreat. All proceeds go towards fund-raising for the non-profit White Flame Charitable Trust that maintains this beautiful sacred space.
